Minimum Gas Price

BESC Hyperchain enforces a minimum gas price of 1,000 Gwei (1,000,000,000,000 wei). Any transaction submitted below this price will be rejected at the RPC level before it ever reaches the validator.

Minimum gas price: 1,000,000,000,000 wei
                 = 1,000 Gwei
                 = 0.000001 BESC per gas unit

This minimum is enforced by every node in the network, including the public RPC endpoints and the consensus relayers.

EIP-1559 Support

BESC Hyperchain supports EIP-1559 from genesis (block 0). You can submit transactions with:

• Legacy (gasPrice field only)
• EIP-1559 (maxFeePerGas + maxPriorityFeePerGas)

Both formats are accepted. For EIP-1559 transactions, set maxFeePerGas to at least the minimum gas price (1,000 Gwei).

Setting Gas in Your Wallet

Most wallets auto-detect the gas price. If you need to set it manually:

• Gas Price (legacy): 1,000 Gwei minimum
• Max Fee Per Gas (EIP-1559): 1,000 Gwei minimum
• Max Priority Fee (EIP-1559): 1,000 Gwei (set equal to max fee; base fee is effectively 0)

Gas Limit

The block gas limit is 30,000,000 gas. A single transaction cannot exceed this limit. For reference, a simple ETH transfer uses 21,000 gas — the block can fit approximately 1,400 simple transfers per block (every 3 seconds).
