Using the Bridge

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Open the Bridge

Go to wbescbridge.com and connect your wallet (MetaMask or any EVM wallet).

2. Select Your Route

Choose:

  • From — the source chain (e.g., BNB Chain)
  • To — the destination chain (e.g., BESC Hyperchain)
  • Asset — the token to bridge (e.g., BNB → WBNB)

The UI shows only valid routes for each asset combination.

3. Enter Amount

Type the amount you want to bridge. The bridge shows:

  • Estimated fee
  • Amount you will receive
  • Current bridge status

4. Approve (if ERC-20)

If bridging an ERC-20 token (USDC, wBESC, etc.), you must first approve the bridge contract to spend your tokens. Click Approve and confirm in your wallet.

5. Submit

Click Bridge and confirm the transaction in your wallet.

For ETH/BNB bridging, the transaction sends the native coin directly to the bridge receiver. For tokens, it calls burn() or transfer() on the token contract.

6. Wait for Confirmation

The bridge UI tracks your transaction. Typical wait times:

RouteTypical Time
ETH → BESC2–5 minutes
BSC → BESC1–3 minutes
BESC → ETH2–5 minutes
BESC → BSC1–3 minutes
XRP → BESC1–2 minutes
SOL → BESC30–90 seconds

7. Check Your Wallet

Once confirmed, the bridged asset appears in your wallet on the destination chain. Switch your wallet to the destination network if needed.

Troubleshooting

Transaction submitted but no tokens received after 10 minutes:

  • Check the bridge status page at wbescbridge.com
  • Verify your transaction was confirmed on the source chain via the explorer
  • Check you sent to the correct bridge address for your asset

"Insufficient gas" error on BESC Hyperchain:

  • You need BESC to pay gas. Minimum gas price is 1,000 Gwei.
  • Get BESC from another wallet or community members first.

Transaction rejected on BESC Hyperchain:

  • Your address may be blocked by the account permissioning contract. Contact the BESC team.
